Connect with a Sunday School class on Sunday mornings. Join us in Fellowship Hall this coming Sunday, as we study, “Trust”, from Acts 27:31-44. We learn believers find joy through trusting God in all circumstances.

Many people respond to difficult challenges in one of two ways: fight or flight. Whatever the situation, believers have a third option: faith. We may be frightened, but we can always trust our sovereign Lord who loves us. As Paul wrote to the Roman Christians, God works in all things for the good of those who love Him (Rom. 8:28).

How do you respond when confronting serious problems? What makes it difficult to trust God in every circumstance?

Paul, born in Mombasa, Kenya, grew up in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and earned his B.A. in History from Wayland Baptist University, followed by a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. After pastoring in Houston for 10 years, he joined IBC Costa Rica in 2002 and completed a Doctor of Ministry at Asbury Seminary in 2020. Passionate about missions, church planting, and impactful preaching, Paul is dedicated to serving Costa Rica’s international community.
